The Fourth of July

As the summer season begins, we all know that nothing marks the occasion like celebrating the Fourth of July. Sierra Regency Retirement Living understands the importance of bringing families, friends, and the community together to commemorate the festive holiday. Happily, we are situated in the beautiful city of Roseville, California, which takes its celebrations seriously.

Social Gatherings

The Fourth of July at Sierra Regency is not just about reveling in the festivities – it is also an opportunity to strengthen the bonds within the community. Roseville’s celebrations encourage residents to engage with their neighbors, participate in group activities, and share experiences and laughter.

This Year’s Activities

Tuesday, July 4, will begin with a 10K and 5K race at Royer Park first thing in the morning. The race is sponsored by the Roseville Crime Stoppers. The fun-filled event is intended to raise funds to purchase equipment used by local law enforcement and to provide scholarships for youth.

The morning will continue to excite, as the Roseville Parade will begin at 9 am starting at the intersection of Riverside/Vernon/Douglas and running past the Civic Center. Be sure to find a spot along the parade route and cheer on our local participants.

Following the parade, swing back toward Royer Park until the early afternoon. Carnival games, bounce houses, tasty food, and live music will keep the revelers in full party mode for participants of all ages.

Fireworks Display

No Fourth of July celebration is complete without a dazzling fireworks display, and Roseville has made sure its residents can delight in the sparkle. Finish the day at the Placer County Fairgrounds for the amazing presentation of lights and music. The show will start when it gets dark, around 9:30 pm.
